Gregory North
What does he do?

Gregory North performs Bush Poetry and yarns (tall stories). He is a regular at festivals and events around Australia.

Greg is available to put on a show for you or your organisation or school for anything from 10 minutes to 2 hours. With his quirky humour and bent for accents he is sure to entertain.

Have you heard Banjo Paterson's poem "The Man From Snowy River" performed in 14 different accents? Greg can do that for you. It has become a great crowd favourite wherever he goes.

Clancy of The Overflow's jilted lover, the "Fully Sick" dude, the granny, the tradesman, the touch footy kid and others could also make an appearance. There could even be an insight into the frustrations of sticky tape!

From humorous to serious, poignant to ridiculous you'll be taken on a memorable journey of dinkum Australian heritage. Greg's repertoire includes traditional poetry from Banjo Paterson, C J Dennis, John O'Brien, Thomas E Spencer and others, as well as modern works from Denis Kevans plus Greg's original poems too.

Details on Greg's School show Immerse in Verse are available here.
